New CARE Center Facility:

We have graciously been given the opportunity to move into a new facility in New Hope, AL. Our dream has been to offer classes in adult education (financial planning/budgeting, trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC)) to those we serve which can now be a reality in this larger facility. We ask for your support as we will be doing major renovations to this building to create an environment that best meets the needs of those we serve.

Update (1/30/09): The new CARE Center building is looking great. The renovations are almost completed and we hope to have a move-in date sometime in mid-February.

Update (2/25/09): We have moved!!! We are in our new building and settling in nicely. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers that came out and helped us get everything from our old location to the new building. It was an amazing sight to see so many people working together. We were able to get it all done in just 2 days!

Update (4/10/09): The CARE Center Thrift Store is doing great! We have now been able to extend our hours on Satudays until 1PM.

Update (3/11/10): We just had our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the New Hope Science Lab. What a blessing this will be for the students to learn in a fun and exciting way. Thank you to all who contributed and volunteered during this process. This could not have happened without you!
